IH Travel & Learn

Hero of IH Travel & Learn

Executive Summary

IH Travel & Learn has spent more than 15 years connecting Mexican students with study-abroad programs as the representative of the IH World network. Its digital presence, however, neither conveyed that solidity nor generated the leads the business needed. We built a new site that changed both within a month.

The Challenge

The previous site had two problems that reinforced each other. On one hand, a very low level of leads, further polluted by a huge amount of spam that overwhelmed the team and buried real inquiries. On the other, a design that did not reflect the solidity of a company with over 15 years of experience, nor convey the trust a family needs to make a decision as important as sending a child to study abroad. On top of that, a content architecture that left the combinations people actually search for — each destination with each program — off the search engines' radar.

The Solution

Play.Interactive developed a new site in Astro, focused on speed, clarity, and trust. The redesign projects the seriousness and institutional backing of IH Travel & Learn, with an experience that guides families through their decision. The strategic centerpiece was a programmatic content architecture: we generated nearly 200 new interior pages, one for each combination of destination and program, all optimized for SEO, GEO, and AEO to capture real search intent and also surface in AI engine answers. We reinforced the forms with effective spam protection. The result, just one month after launch: spam dropped 100% — nothing comes through anymore — and qualified leads increased 60%.
