How ready is your website for Google and AI?

We check what search and AI crawlers see when they reach your site: whether you let them in, whether they can read your content without JavaScript, and whether they understand who you are. Then we tell you how you compare with Mexico’s largest companies.

We only check public pages of your site. We don’t store your IP or ask for your email.

What we measure

We visit your homepage the way a crawler would, identifying ourselves honestly, and score seven areas out of 100 points. It’s exactly the rubric from our study of Mexico’s largest companies, so the comparison is fair.

Indexability

25 pts

Google can index your homepage and understand what it’s about: no noindex, with a title, description, a single H1 and a canonical URL.

Content without JavaScript

20 pts

How much text arrives in the HTML your server delivers. Many AI crawlers don’t run JavaScript: if your content depends on it, your page is almost empty to them.

Search and AI crawlers allowed

15 pts

Whether your robots.txt lets in Googlebot, Bingbot and the crawlers ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude use to search in real time. Blocking training crawlers costs no points: it’s a legitimate choice.

Structured data

15 pts

Whether you declare who you are with Schema.org: your organization, your site and your official profiles.

Sitemap

10 pts

Whether there’s a valid sitemap, with URLs and update dates.

Transport

10 pts

Forced HTTPS, HSTS and HTTP/2.

Declared language

5 pts

Whether the page says what language it’s in.

What we don’t measure

  • We only check your homepage, not your whole site.
  • We don’t render with a browser: we measure what ships in the HTML, which is what most AI crawlers see.
  • We don’t ask ChatGPT whether it recommends you. For that, the method is in our guide and in AEON42’s AI visibility test.
  • A firewall may treat our bot differently from Google’s or AI crawlers; if it blocks us, we tell you.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if ChatGPT can read my website?

Check two things: that your robots.txt doesn’t block OAI-SearchBot or ChatGPT-User, and that your content arrives in the HTML without needing JavaScript. This tool checks both on your homepage in a few seconds.

What does the percentile mean?

It’s your position among the largest companies in Mexico we analyzed with the same rubric. If you’re in the 70th percentile, your site scores better than 70% of them.

Does blocking GPTBot cost me points?

No. GPTBot, ClaudeBot and similar crawlers collect data to train models, and blocking them is a valid choice. We only score crawlers that search in real time to answer, because those decide whether you show up in an answer today.

Does the tool store my data?

We keep the domain’s analysis for a while so it can be shared by link and not re-run. We don’t store your IP or ask for your email.

Does a high score guarantee AI will recommend me?

No. It measures whether crawlers can read and understand you, which is the foundation. Getting recommended also depends on your content and on what other sources say about you; we cover that in our guide to showing up on ChatGPT.
